We just wanted to let you all know what will be happening after Monday the 19th July.
As you may know, from that day, precautions such as masks and social distancing will no longer be a legal requirement. However, local businesses will still reserve the right to generate their own protocols and policies to protect their staff and customers.
After July 19th, our policy will remain similar to what it has been since the end of April this year for clients entering the practice for a consultation. This is unlikely to change until we are satisfied that the risk of COVID transmission is low for both our staff and clients.( for example our staff receiving their second vaccine)
For those who aren't aware of our current situation, we have listed the protocol below:
We will still ask for you to phone the practice when you are outside, whether you have arrived for an appointment or are here to collect medications for your pet(s). If you are here for an appointment, the vet/nurse will call you in when they are ready. Please be patient and allow some time for a staff member to answer the phone as sometimes when we are particularly busy, there may be a wait.
We ask that one person comes in to the practice per pet.
We ask that you wear a face covering unless you have a medical exemption. Please ensure your mask covers both your nose and mouth.
We ask that you please use the hand sanitiser provided as you come into the practice.
We ask that, where possible, you respect social distancing guidelines.
You will be asked to pay at the reception desk after your consultation with the vet.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation
